Google ReviewsI placed an online curbside order since there is no drive-thru pickup option. There are only two curbside spots, and one was occupied by a large truck that blocked the signage, which isn’t clearly visible unless you drive past it. I placed my order while already in the parking lot and marked “I’m here” immediately. I watched two different associates look directly at my vehicle and still no one brought out my food. The app continued to say “in progress,” so I assumed it was still being prepared. After waiting 16 minutes, I went through the drive-thru to ask about my order and was told to pull forward. Then I was handed a bag and told it had been finished and sitting there. The excuse given was that I wasn’t parked in the designated curbside spot. However, with only two spots and one blocked, I parked next to it. I also provided my vehicle details and marked my arrival in the app. What is the purpose of collecting vehicle information if staff aren’t going to look for the car? Are customers expected to wait until a curbside spot opens? This situation reflects poor training and lack of effort. This was a very frustrating first experience and would never recommend.
love culvers but this visit was a bit disappointing. my son ordered a plain cod sandwich and we were charged an extra 30 cents to make it plain. when i asked the cashier if i was being charged extra for making it plain she said yes. as its the first time he's ordered it i have no previous experience to refer to regarding it. overall the food was great like always though. service was fine
Despite a huge rush, they were slammed with a charter bus full of people, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful to everyone! My order was ready fast, and as always, everything was delicious!
On the way back to Sarnia to cross the border into Canada, we stopped for lunch at Culver’s. We saw their multitude of locations along the places we visited. It was our last chance to try them, so we didn’t pass up the opportunity. Something to note about Culver’s is that you don’t order your food at your table. Instead, you order everything in line at the front, and they’ll then bring your food to your table. And their drive-thru system is unique. An employee stands there in person to take your order, rather than speaking through a mic and speaker. My parents and I ordered almost exactly the same things. The only difference was our appetizers. They got fries, which were average; I got cheese curds and thought it was cool how half of the curds were cheddar and the other, mozzarella. We took Butter Burgers. They were given this name because they’re lightly toasted with butter. On mine, there was American cheese, mustard, and red onions. It was a nice burger, something like one from Shake Shack or a smashburger. My parents had no problem finishing theirs. Milkshakes were the final stage of our meal. They shared one and I had one for myself. They were both malted, and had hot fudge sauce and cookie dough chunks. Ours were a real treat (speaking for both myself and my parents). The total was $32 USD. Culver’s was the right way to conclude our trip. This trip, from my perspective anyway, was meant to broaden my understanding of food and refine my palate. Success tastes good.
Stopped for a hot meal on the way home from a LONG road trip. Delicious, freshly made Atlantic Cod sandwich and some butterflies shrimp. Couldn't leave without my favorite red raspberry ice cream.
