I saw Mary Lou's Candy Corner on the internet. My wife and I drove there from Morris. When we arrived, Mary Lou's candy trays were mostly empty. We selected an assortment from the meager offerings. As Mary Lou was bagging up our candy, I pulled out my credit card. That's when Mary Lou informed me that she doesn't accept credit or debit cards. There were no signs saying such in the store or on her website. Because I purchase most everything with my credit cards, I didn't have any cash with me. We left without being able to buy any candy. On the upside, Mary Lou was a very pleasant woman.
My husband is diabetic and Mary Lou's not only has the best variety of sugar free candy, but the best we have tasted. So hard to stay away! The Carmel and nut chocolate s are my favorite!
