Came here Friday & let me tell you this is the place to be. Huge atmosphere change, new owners, awesome bartenders, great music and the vibe was great. This place has come a long way.

I used to like this bar. Unfortunately since ownership changed, staff changed. The bartender was so trashed he would've been refused as a patron. My friend and me ordered our first drinks of the evening. He kept forgetting what we ordered and getting distracted. He forgot that my friend had already paid for her drinks and had already tipped him. I asked him if he needed help behind the bar. He flipped out and screamed at me in front of everyone, demanding that we leave. Stay far away from here if you want to have a good night. Parkway is way better, and the bartender at Parkway is respectful and takes her job seriously. I'm disgusted by how I was spoken to and treated this evening. Do better, seriously, and count your blessings I dont report you. It's illegal to drink on the job as a bartender in Illinois and extremely irresponsible. Edited to add: The bar manager said that she didn't know what was going on, but if her bartender said I had to go, I had to go. This tells me that this establishment condones their staff getting wasted on the clock. Bartenders are supposed to be responsible for ensuring their customers have a safe experience. I don't see how any establishment can have a supervisor on staff that knowingly allows an employee to (poorly) do their job when they aren't even fit to drive.

Uncle Johnny is very nice and his wonderful bar.
