Super clean! Super friendly! Definitely a place to host live music, highly suggest they do more of that, almost 25yrs ago they did and it was packed and dancy! Way better shape than I remember! It’s truly a little goldmine! Kudos! Definitely will visit again!

Sorry people, this is a long one 😞😣 I like going to the Blackrose, however I have had 3 experiences with the same bartender. The 1st time I thought he was funny and kinda cool, but young. The second time, he was different, and I had to think to myself, must be having a bad day. I GET it, we all have them. He was rude to my friend. I thought it was in a joking way at first, but every time she tried talking, he was rude and I felt uncomfortable. I was ready to go but we stayed a little while longer. So then tonight Wednesday February 21, I met my friend again, excited to see her, and then that bartender was there, he was ok with me, got me a drink right away, I gave him a five and said keep the dollar. Posted on the special board for Wednesday was Bud/ Bud light/ Busch/ Natural Ice $2.50 The patrons in the bar had just realized this and brought it up around 7:20 or so. We went out for a smoke, my friend looked at the bartender, who came out later, and asked " Can we have a talk without argument?" He eventually listened, but did not agree with charging her the sale price of $2.50 because he said the owner had just told him to charge her $3. Which is no big deal but it is posted on the special board, which MOST will honor, but he wouldn't budge and told us to leave. He made the comment " Well how long has that been posted?" I just thought well "All bars have weekly specials!" I was ready to start being rude so I kept my mouth shut. Me as a returning customer, (but not a regular), felt like the bartender was disrespectful. I was ready to leave. I had $40 to spend, and spent 5. I had even suggested him to text his boss. So I will NOT return if this Andrew is working. Sorry Kris and Patty, no disrespect. I enjoy going to your bar and I Always have a good time with other visits (and bartenders). I will return and will recommend your bar for a good time!

The Black Rose Saloon is a local hotspot in Princeton IL. They got a very nice stage with a great sound system. Strong stiff drinks, friendly staff, and delicious bar pizza!! Chris the owner is a gracious host and took care of us really well. They support local music so 5 stars all day!! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

Bigger on the inside than I expected. We went there to see the Halloween costume contest and it had good music, drinks, and snacks.
