We started with the Gorgonzola salad and cheese biscuits … were tasty and we knew we were going to enjoy the rest…. I had the crab cake hubs had the filet with lobster tail and grits on the side everything cooked to perfection! Loves the atmosphere, service was great, we went next door for a cannoli, coffee and baklava! We will be back! Our client recommended us to come here she was not wrong!

My boyfriend and I visited on Sunday, July 6, 2025. The food and presentation were superb and far-exceeded the expectations I had. The striped bass was undoubtedly the best we’d ever been served, and I am confused by any customers’ complaints regarding portion sizes because I found the portions to be generous and much larger than you’d find at other fine dining restaurants. Our waiter was great, and the food truly is five-star worth. I am from Palm Beach County in South Florida and have many years experience in restaurant management and fine dining, so I am neither unfamiliar to haute cuisine nor with low standards when it comes to fresh seafood, and this location hits the mark and would be a standout even in the highly competitive restaurant culture of South Florida. I highly recommend it to anyone and look forward to returning.

Delicious, creative dishes at The Beach House! One of the best restaurants in the Midwest. We are returning the next two nights while staying at Starved Rock. Their salad with fennel shavings is a great starter. Their specials are very creative. The tuna bowl was excellent. Can't wait to go back tonight!

I had Paul as a server for the second time. And he was great again. I had the chicken gumbo soup at his recommendation, I had the oysters Rockefeller, and then he suggested the porgy blackened. It was all delicious and they do have a dessert store, next door which everything they make is delicious. They give you a discount on the gelato.
