Sweet Bean Gelato & Intelligentsia Coffee Shop

I haven’t been to this city in several years and this was the first coffee shop we tried! Positive experience!!! The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and the employees were very friendly. This is a cute spot in a cute city!! You can immediately tell a lot of people enjoy stopping by here.

This p l ace is never open when they say hours wrong constantly hot chocolate machine is always in. Cleaning mode or not working service sucks service is so slow even when only one there and only had satisfactory service once out of 5 times and I honestly they go out of business

Disappointed. Came in and stood there for about 5 minutes no one in sight. No bell to ring. Heard no voices of anyone around. Left and got ice cream elsewhere. To answer owners question. Yesterday evening June 29th at approximately 440pm. A friendly suggestion would be to put a sign out stating be back in 5 minutes, if you can't have 2 or more employees working at the same time. I mean you should have at least 2 people working at once to help one another. What if someone has to poop and it takes them 5-15 minutes to poop. No one in sight for customers 😕. Also just for safety as well.

This is a MUST stop while you are in Ottawa! Awesome gelato, coffee and other sweet treats! My favorite was the Port Wine gelato. Sounded strange but tasted great!

This is by far my most favorite new spot in town! The bagel with prosciutto, goat cheese and honey is to die for! The French toast bowl is also delicious! I’ve had a few mochas as well and they’re perfection. I’m so thankful to have another option for a coffee and sweet treat in Ottawa!
