Piccolo's Pizzeria

We recently moved to the area and wanted to try this place after reading positive reviews. Being from the suburbs of Chicago, pizza has been a staple for life and having access to some great pizza, I wasn't holding my breath. The pizza was very good!! There were plenty of topping options, sizes, specialty pizzas as well as sandwiches available. If you rate food on the ratio of quality to price, you have a serious winner here!! We will definitely be back to try other menu items. We are glad we found this place so close to us.

This small-town pizza parlor is friendly, delicious, and personal. Breadsticks and pizza were 10/10 (the chef is amazing!), and the wait staff made sure we were satisfied all the way through our meal.

TLDR: Good solid pizza for the price, but it won't blow your socks off. It'll beat any of the chain pizza restaurants, but it's no Giordano's or Lou Malnati's, but than you also don't have the Giordano's or Lou Malnati's price. Overall a solid enjoyable pizza so long as your not expectations aren't too high. Staff was very friendly and helpful to an out of towner. I heard a rumor that they'll deliver to select campgrounds nearby but can't confirm that definitely.

First time order. Will def.order again Only problem was the time it took for delivery. I understand it's a Saturday night but 1 1/2 hours was a tad long. The sauce was very good and the right amount of cheese.looking forward to trying other choices.

How anyone could give this place a nice review is unfathomable. The pizza is terrible, it reminded me of a dooey Jack's frozen pizza. It was the worst pizza I have had in years and I love pizza. The service was so bad that it felt like a joke. I was there on Friday night and i was the only table there. Not one person came in during the time I was there yet my drink never once got refilled nor did the waitress check on my table. I assume that the good reviews on here are friends of the pizza place as it was a such a bad meal that I recommend you go there just to see for yourself before it is out of business.
