Fiesta MX

Maybe I should’ve known better than to eat here but I am not a local. I was passing through for work looking for a place to stop for lunch. The soda tasted like bleach or soft scrub. The meat in the chicken enchiladas was raw And the cheese sauce tasted like plastic. I didn’t eat my meal paid for it then left. I hate leaving but I do not want anyone else to waste their money like me.

My second visit & I can't wait to go back. I loved their salsa & warm chips. Had a pork taco dinner and wished I had a larger portion of the rice. It is divine. Servers are very attentive & friendly. Next time I will order a different menu item cuz' I am curious how the enchiladas are. Great options as well. They serve Pepsi products (no one serves RC anymore!).

ignore the fact that i'm eating on the couch. fiesta mx is some fire mexican food in downtown ottawa. i'm a street taco kinda gal and these are good! this time they mighta been a touch over cooked but honestly i slapped some lime on them and its back to business. the salsa is absolutely fire and i'm happy there's a good spot downtown

There are multiple Mexican restaurants in the area, but I like this one the best. Their salsa, guacamole and chips are really tasty. You can get dinners that include rice and beans or you can order à la carte. The food is good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming with an authentic feel to it. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good Mexican food.

Great tacos. Had tacos plates one traditional one Americana. Order some cheese sauce the salsa lacks punch. Chips are more ballpark nacho style than fried cantina. Splurged and got the fried ice cream and churos. They are separate items. But they are delicious together.
