Alfano's Pizza of Ottawa

Alfano‘s Pizza is fantastic from start to finish! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly — you can really tell they care about quality. The atmosphere was welcoming and great for a relaxed meal. A huge shoutout to our waiter, Charles, who made the experience even better. Charles goes above and beyond to make his customers happy!! He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel taken care of without being overbearing. It’s rare to get service that good these days, and he really stood out. We’ll definitely be coming back — great food, great service, and an all-around excellent experience! We love Alfano’s Pizza!!!!!

The pizza is fantastic and we routinely get pizza for take out. We dined in tonight for the first time tonight and ordered soda thinking we would get a fountain drink, but the waitress dropped off a can. We realized the menu had it listed as $2.00/can or unlimited refills for $3.75. We didn't specify which one went wanted but since 1 can and small glass of ice was dropped and we weren't offered refills, that we were just going to be charged for the 2 cans of soda that were given. The bill came and we were charged $3.75 for unlimited refills and when we questioned the waitress about not being offered any refills and just being given 2 cans of soda for $7.50, the waitress laughed and said "the menu is wrong, go argue the charges with the people up front if you want, but I'm not fixing it." We really shouldn't have to go "fight" to be charged the correct and advertised price on the menu. We paid the bill as it was and left. I am only leaving a review because apparently others have complained about being charged incorrectly and nothing has been done. I felt that others should be warned that if you bring up a legitimate bill discrepancy, you get laughed at and told to pay it or go fight to have it corrected.

Interesting setup. You walk into a band area, pass up the carry out counter to find the hostess to seat you. She was very friendly. They were having a big party in the main restaurant, she asked if we’d like to sit in the band area (has a stage) so we did. A lot of choices on the menu. We got the taco sub & pizza. Sub needed something (less bread or more meat) it was ok. The Alfano pizza was fantastic. Will go back again & try something else ☺️. I believe the owner stopped at our table to show appreciation for us staying even though we had to sit in that area. It was fine. It looks like it’ll be a great place once they are finished with the whole place. Second time stopping in. We were able to eat in the restaurant, they have an engagement party in the big room. They lite the fireplace, so pretty. Plenty of seating. There were other people, just didn’t want to show in the pictures. They take reservations also.

Pizza is pretty good, very nice people but $6 for a side salad with soggy brown lettuce, not good. Ranch is like wish bone ranch packets with mayo and buttermilk would be amazing. Not a fan of the ranch.

Great Italian resturaunt! Very friendly staff and they are great at explaining to you what is good if you are from out of town. There is flavor in every bite! Best pizza I have had in a long time. Would recommend this to anyone traveling through. I drove 40 miles out of my way to eat here!
