EL TORITO MEXICAN GRILL

Overall, everything I’ve tried here has been good. The service is fast, the food is affordable, and the menu is extensive. Portions are generally normal, although some dishes are very well served. I’ve previously tried the pozole and the birria, and I can honestly say they’re very good. The horchata is a solid 10/10. I especially recommend this place for family visits.

I originally thought they messed up my order, putting onions and tomato on my burger ( yea I'm one of those lol), turns out it was me the whole time, I took wrong sammich lol, but even after taking them off, the food was really good, churros crunchy on outside soft on inside. I will try their tacos at another time, I just wasn't feeling tacos. Oh and did I mention they deliver? That right there deserves five stars. Delivery driver was super nice, and quick. We will be ordering again, since my husband could eat tacos and burritos daily if id let him. I definitely recommend trying them out, they are a local family, very polite, and generous portions. And just Incase you missed it, They Deliver!

Great food and great people. I just got a drink for free tonight randomly. They are very nice people and will keep going there! I recommend it highly.

Stop on the way through town. Took advantage of the taco Thursday deal ($2 tacos) and it didn’t disappoint! Horchata was really good too. Wish there was outdoor seating. Service was great!

I arrived at the corn fair in Mendota and found this hidden gem around the corner, run by the owners, a great option for those who want Mexican food, I ordered some chilaquiles rojas, the eggs were cooked to perfection. Just as I ordered them, I definitely recommend it if you come to the town fair or visit this beautiful and quiet town. Don't forget to order the cheese flan, believe me you won't regret it ☺️
